Updates

Hi everyone -

I got behind for awhile while traveling and having my laptop die. I'm working on catching up and I'm almost there. I'm moving my blog to http://cristalogletree.wordpress.com/ and will send an email update with the link once I'm all caught up.

We've just arrived in Malaysia, but leave tomorrow morning to travel around Thailand for 3-4 weeks. At that point we'll come back to Kuala Lumpur and start apartment hunting. I'll probably get behind again over the next few weeks, but I promise I'll catch up!

Week 38: November 26 to December 2

Mon: hang out with sindy, make tamales, new couch and recliner arrive, pack,
Tue: went to the office with mom, finished packing, flight to new york city
Wed: work, went to see columbus statue, walk to pick up laptop, played with google nexus phone, watched silver linings playbook, class presentation, miracle fruit
Thur: 97th street farmers market, absolute bagels, nap then work
Fri: work, walk down to rockefeller christmas tree
Sat: work, hang out in queens with arnis elle and gustavs
Sun: come home from queens, nap, work

Week 37: November 19 to November 25

Monday: driving to TX from DC, arrive in the evening with tito and tia mila
Tuesday: went to the office with mom for edgars birthday
Wednesday: jacob and family went to see the piano lesson
Thursday: thanksgiving! tito deep fried the turkey and smoked 2 pork shoulders, mom and I made mashed potatoes, pumpkin pies, and veggies
Friday: stopped by macy's - crazy black Friday, thanksgiving leftovers for lunch at avol's, jacob and family went to see a royal affair
Saturday: jacob and family went to see columbus statue, jacob and family went to the twenty-seventh man, cristal's laptop died :-(
Sunday: work most of the day, presentation group meeting

Week 36: November 12 to November 18

Monday: walked down to 72 met laura briefly, subway down to chambers, walked up hudson through NYU and washington square park, walked through east village and up through gramercy and saw stuy town, train back home, work and dinner
Tuesday: jacob in delaware, work all day, panel at columbia on digital diplomacy, dinner party with panelists,
Wednesday: work most of the day, shake shack for lunch saw artie from glee!, class, online apartment hunting,
Thursday: work most of the day, vietnamese for lunch, work, school visit, class
Friday: apartment hunting upper west side, walk around midtown, cook huge batch of lentil stew, watched queen of versailles with anya,
Saturday: bolt bus to DC, taylor's sandwiches, hgtv and country music videos, pick up reena, hang out at nena's,
Sunday: tia mila arrives at noon, pack at tito's house, stop by tio rafael's, leave for TX!, stop around midnight to sleep for a few hours
