Mon: lecture on media in chile, lecture on cinema in chile, work
Tue: visit to penalolen, cheesburger for dinner, class
Wed: lecture on penguin revolution, shopping at handicrafts market, indian take-out, work
Thur: last lecture of the study tour: economics and education, rest and work in the afternoon, fun at los buenos muchachos
Fri: jacob arrives early morning, study tour debrief/wrap-up, trip to la moneda, dinner out at bellavista
Sat: day trip to pomaire and isla negra, dinner in lastarria
Sun: last day for the study tour group, tour at la chascona (neruda's santiago house), walking around downtown, submarino/coffee and work

Week 19: July 16 to July 22

Monday: walk around santiago, lunch at mercado central, holiday, baggage still lost
Tuesday: lecture: "education in chile", empanadas for lunch, walk around bella vista, class, watched machuca
Wednesday: lecture: "Political changes in Chile: Dictatorship/Democracy" by Francisco Javier Diaz, policy advisor and speech writer for Bachelet, shopping b/c baggage still lost, work, liguria for dinner
Thursday: visit to memory museum, movie: el diario de agustin, nap, work, chinese take-out
Friday: meeting with educacion2020, lunch, shopping at crafts market, work
Saturday: bus to valparaiso, funicular, seafood lunch and walk around, museo a cielo abierto, tire trouble and bus back
Sunday: day off, rest, work, bagagge still lost

Week 18: July 9 to July 15

Monday: work/box unpacking, power outage nap, haylee and hayzel swim meet, movie at star cinema
Tuesday: work, packing, nap, jacob going away party
Wednesday: jacob flight to DC, work, walk to tia yita's
Thursday: lots of errands, haylee and hayzel prelims, work, class, iphone tutorial
Friday: work, visiting people, ordering lots of vitamins online, facebook tutorial
Saturday: saying bye to people, flight to miami, flight to lima
Sunday: flight to santiago, lost lugagge, walk around santiago city center with class, tired and work catch-up
